Chris found the sport of triathlon when his fiance asked him to train for and compete with her and some work friends in the 2010 Pittsburgh triathlon after several years removed from his college running days.  An Ebay road bike purchase and a couple of months of training later, he finished his first triathlon and was hooked.  He found something to feed his super competitive spirit that was a little more rewarding than the local Pittsburgh basketball and tennis rec leagues.  Chris has been been with Snapple since the 2012 season and really enjoys the long weekend training camps at the Lost River Barn in the WV mountains.  Great training, great friends and great food.
