Date of Birth/Location: Toms River, NJ - 9/19/82
Tri Experience: Rutgers Swimmer, turned runner, then bought a bike! I’ve been competing for 12yrs, the last two as a professional - still have a ways to go!
Strengths on the course: My strength is being slightly above average in all 3 sports! I was a D1 swimmer in college, so I do really focus on the bike and the run off the bike.
Goals for 2019: To stay healthy, win a handful of local races and finish Top 10 in the Pro Male field more than once - even if a great lady champion beats me here and there, we can both focus on beating some men :D
Height: 5’11 & 3/4"
Family Life: I have 7 sisters and brothers, one a twin and only one younger (sis) than me. I also have the greatest husband in the world and a super mini aussie, named Loki.
Favorite Race Moment: It was either setting a local record in Pawling, NY (at a Sprint Tri) or my Pro Debut @ Eagleman last year, where I got to race with Adam, Todd, Marty and some other top athlete friends.
Nickname: CrazyHorse (I used to have to work extra hard to keep up at Swim Camp) and Jigga (I listened to Jay-Z and then kicked butt at lifeguard tournaments!)
Favorite Post-Race Food: Cappucino Endurance First Ultragen - just add water, and all the fruit
Favorite thing when not swimming, biking, or running: Volunteering in NYC, hanging with the NYC Fitness Scene
Favorite Food: Smoothies, Baked Sweet Potatoes, Nutella & Croissant
